Oggi, 12 agosto, si celebra come ogni anno la Giornata Internazionale della Gioventù – per portare le questioni giovanili all’attenzione della comunità internazionale e per celebrare il potenziale dei giovani come partner attivi nella società globale. Il tema della giornata 2021 riguarda la Trasformazione dei sistemi alimentari. Sono indispensabili meccanismi di sostegno inclusivi che assicurino che i giovani continuino ad amplificare gli sforzi, collettivamente e individualmente, per ripristinare il pianeta e proteggere la vita, integrando la biodiversità nella trasformazione dei sistemi alimentari. Con la popolazione mondiale che dovrebbe aumentare di 2 miliardi di persone nei prossimi 30 anni, numerose parti interessate hanno riconosciuto che la semplice produzione di un volume maggiore di cibo più sano in modo più sostenibile non garantirà il benessere umano e planetario. Pertanto, devono essere affrontate anche altre sfide cruciali, come le interconnessioni promosse dall’Agenda 2030, compresa la riduzione della povertà; integrazione sociale; assistenza sanitaria; conservazione della biodiversità; e mitigazione dei cambiamenti climatici.
Il tema della Trasformazione dei sistemi alimentari è al centro di Green Growth Generation (GGG). Green Growth Generation è una piattaforma partecipativa che mira a promuovere lo sviluppo e la crescita delle eco-community creando sinergie e virtuose connessioni tra esse. Green Growth Generation pensa in modo globale e agisce a livello locale per preservare l’ambiente, per sostenere un consumo sano, equo e verde, sviluppare competenze basate su uno stile di vita sostenibile. Green Growth Generation è unica per l’approccio partecipativo e circolare che mira a connettere eco-community unendo gli sforzi e le risorse per sviluppare e migliorare soluzioni alle attuali problematiche ambientali; perché crede nell’importanza di avere uno spazio fisico oltre che virtuale per sviluppare idee, progetti e processi esperienziali integrando in maniera sinergica il mondo del business, dell’arte e dell’educazione.

International Youth Day – EN version
Today, 12 August, International Youth Day is celebrated as every year – to bring youth issues to the attention of the international community and to celebrate the potential of young people as active partners in global society. The theme of the day 2021 concerns the transformation of food systems.
Inclusive support mechanisms are needed to ensure that young people continue to amplify their efforts, collectively and individually, to restore the planet and protect life by integrating biodiversity into the transformation of food systems. With the world’s population expected to increase by 2 billion people over the next 30 years, numerous stakeholders have recognized that simply producing a larger volume of healthier food in a more sustainable way will not ensure human and planetary well-being. Therefore, other crucial challenges also need to be addressed, such as the interconnections promoted by the 2030 Agenda, including poverty reduction; social integration; health care; conservation of biodiversity; and climate change mitigation.
The Food Systems Transformation topic is one of the pillars of Green Growth Generation (GGG). Green Growth Generation is a participatory platform that aims to promote the development and growth of eco-communities by creating synergies and virtuous connections between them.
Eco-entrepreneurs and green activists can join Green Growth Generation community; eco-sustainable companies and BCorp; aggregations belonging to the world of civil or cultural society; researchers and experts who want to be part of the GGG community. Green Growth Generation get and use innovative methodologies from the world of education, business and art and aims to develop circular solutions for the Sustainable sectors (Environment, Energy, Food, Water and Sustainable Consumption).
